ProgTech is made up of progressive campaigning organisations, grassroots groups, and the progressive agencies and vendors who support us. From launch, member organisations have access to mentorship programs, trainings, a growing shared library of tools, code and resources, skilled volunteers, and our Slack community.
We share with each other in good faith, and ensure we share on clear terms - because we all share the same goals. We’re working together to prevent climate devastation, and to create a society where everyone, no matter your background, your gender, your ability or your skin colour, can thrive.
If this is something your organisation or activist group would like to be a part of, get in touch. We have so much to gain from working together. Joining the network means sharing what you have to offer - which is different for different organisations. If you're interested in seeing your organisation join the network, share what you're keen to get out of it, and what your organisation could offer in the form.
Please note that ProgTech is for progressive campaigning and movement building organisations, and the technologists and vendors that support us - apolitical businesses contribute great things, but aren't a fit for this network. ProgTech is also not a network for political parties.
A member of the ProgTech team will get in touch to discuss further. If your organisation and the network are a good fit, we'll then form a membership agreement that outlines in detail what your organisation can share, and the key ways the network will support you in the tech you need to win and better our world.
If your membership application is accepted, you and the tech & digital staff, volunteers, and activists that make up your organisation will be invited to join our Slack community, our shared library of code, tools, and resources, and upcoming trainings and events.
Looking forward to taking these next steps together.
ProgTech acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the stolen lands on which we work. We pay respect to First Nations elders past, present and emerging - sovereignty has never been ceded, and the process of colonisation continues today. We are committed to supporting the leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the progressive space.
